I think it is supposed to start rolling out today. It's not released to everyone at the same time.

Be aware if your running beta you have to flash rather than sideload.

i found this update on the google site a day or 2 ago since then i been tryin to update usin the stupid adb wifi thing and i found out i got no brains at all :*( so whens this update gona be pushed out by project fi so i can get it that way ???


can some 1 recomend a good usb-c to regular usb so i can hook it up to my pc my pc dont have the new usb-c plug

If documentation is to be believed: Once you flash an image; only way to get updates automatically is by going/staying in the beta program.
That be me......Unless I'm reading it wrong.
So stuck with that darn beta flash screen on start-up.

You don't have to leave the beta program to get the OTA, and AFAIK leaving won't make it happen any faster. If we're keeping a tally, I'm on the beta and no OTA yet.

On 7.1.1 beta also and so far nothing OTA. Some on reddit are saying you can unenroll in the beta and then your phone goes back to 7.0 and then the 7.1.1 OTA will show up.

Fyi that didn't work for me. Unenrolled from beta and installed 7.0. 7.1.1 OTA has not showed up for me yet.

I thinks it's rolling out in a similar manner to the monthly patches. They always released them on the 5th but I never got any of them until about a week later.

Finally got 7.1.1 OTA and Dec security patch last night. I had to unenroll in the beta then install 7.0. The 7.1.1 OTA then showed up.

as a side note: Battery life has been crazy good.

EDIT: WOOT; Opted out of beta, sideloaded 7.1.1 Dec 5 [MMF26F].....All good so far....Go figure.
