I want to thank this forum for your info. I was this close to throwing my notebook 10. Verizon people telling me 'obsolete' and if course upgrade. Could not use my charger for 6 mths trying to work with Verizon on charging issues. By going to this site I learned of the volt and amp info to make sure I took my last shot and bought a charger. VOILA! I HAVE MY TABLET BACK.
Samsung does a lousy job with the charger and USB they supply with the product. And certainly although I like them as a carrier, Verizon tech was horrible in their support. Once a product goes 'Obsolete' it's like you are an invisible customer. Amazing enough and I upper case to express my incredulity THEIR STORES NO LONGER HAVE THE CHARGER PLUG IN SIZE FOR THE TECH DEPT. GOT TO BE KIDDING ME!
