1. Battery life seems to be the same as with 4.3 and 4.2. I haven't noticed any drastic change.
2. Performance. 4.4.2 seems to be much much smoother. Browsing the web is most notably less 'bumpy' or laggy.
3. Notable improvements- A few new animations have been added; the screen fades off when it times out or is locked and the keyboard slides up/down. Also the notifications that appear about 1/4 from the bottom of the screen (idk what they're called) have been completely redesigned as well as the lock screen music controls.
Notable issues- Widgets freeze up like they did back in 4.2, I really was hoping this was fixed for good with 4.3. I can't say anyone else has this issue but I can no longer download to my SD card, I have 5GB of free space yet it says there isn't enough room. And lastly, all of the default black menus "smudge" horrendously.
Overall, 4.4.2 appears to be a good update so far. No catastrophic bugs.
