HELP New contacts keep disappearing

So basically, my old contacts are fine and everything, however, each time I add a new contact it gets deleted about a hour later. The same is with editing current contacts, the edit goes away like it never happened.
I haven't found any solution to this online so ask here, but I got a strong feeling outlook syncing contacts has something to do with it...

Welcome to Android Central! Which account are you adding the contacts to? Your Google account, Samsung account, local Phone account, or some other?

Standard its my outlook account im adding contacts to but I'm pretty sure I tried my phone account too once with the same result

For the Outlook account, something might be messed up with that account's sync settings -- but I don't have any experience with syncing Outlook, so I'm afraid I won't be very helpful for that, sorry!

It shouldn't happen with Phone account contacts, though, because those only get saved locally on the phone, and don't get synced anywhere.
