Messaging through "Edge People"

I have been trying to fully utilize the Edge features that come with this phone and I have been experiencing a weird issue. When I pull up one of my top 5 contacts from the Edge and send a text message to them, they receive my message as an email. It goes out through Messenger, or the text messaging section, on my end, but, on their end they see it as an email.

Is anyone else experiencing this issue? or am I doing something wrong?

Yeah I know what you did, I did the same thing. When you first set it up, you hit the email instead of the phone number. Here's how to fix it: First, remove your five contacts from the edge. Then, go into your contacts page, and delete any and all email addresses from each of those five contacts (obviously you'll want to write them down first). Then, add the people back to the edge. Text each of them, it should work fine now. Then you can go back to contacts and add the email addresses you deleted earlier. Worked for me!
