help please!

i have a samsung moment. my kids were messing with my phone and my pattern lock and ended up locking the phone because of too many false attempts. it asks me for my google account which i never set up. i tried pulling the battery. aslo calling it and pressing the home, back, and menu keys yet they just go back to the google account screen. please help and i hope that this message makes sense. thank you

you must have a google account or you could not have signed into the app market... did they set this up for you at the store?
