chat keeps signing me out

I was trying to use google talk today and it kept signing me out whenever i navigated away from the app or turned my screen off. Anybody had something similar to this happen? Annoying to say the least!

Checked all of the settings that I could think of...

It kept doing that to me too, so I switched to KakaoTalk. LiveProfile is good too, a few features similar to BBM on my Blackberry, but not very customizable, so I stuck with KakaoTalk. Sorry, I couldn't figure out why my Google Chat kept signing out either.
