Time & Date in Statusbar?

Hello. I'm brand new to both the Infuse and the Android OS. I've been a long-time owner of an iPhone and yesterday I decided I was tired of being locked-down by iTunes. So I purchased an Infuse 4G on a whim. I loved the fact that its 4G (although I understand it barely technically qualifies as such) even though there are no 4G towers in Tulsa, OK yet.

Anyway, enough of the introduction. As I said, I am brand-new to Android and really know nothing about it. I'm more into customization apps than I am productivity or games and whatnot. So, I've been looking for a way that will show me the date next to the time that's displayed in the top statusbar (if that's what its even actually called.) I don't know if there's a setting for this or if I need an app... or if it can even be done.

You can touch and hold the status bar & it will show you the date.

You can get a widget that will display time and date on one of your pages.

I would suggest purchasing BeWeather. I is a great program coming over from BlackBerry to now include Android. It does what you are looking for and much more if interested in having a great weather app.
