Google wallet problem

Thanks Verizon makes no sense blocking GW. They tried running competition with another payment app as a joint venture in Isis with AT&T and T-Mobile however that project had been put on hold indefinitely.This really makes no sense Isis Mobile-Payment Service Delayed | Gadget Lab | Wired.com

I uninstalled the app before I was able to clear data/reset setting. What are my options? Wish I read this before doing that... :|

I've only recently became aware of this problem because I quit using Wallet but now I want to re flash the phone because i'm selling it to a friend and I don't want to break the secure element for him. I'm not understanding what is meant by the "browser method" for uninstalling. I'm rooted and i've disabled and deleted the date for the wallet app but there is no option to uninstall. I tried going to the app on the play browser site but it just says INSTALLED with no option to uninstall there either. I tried using ES Explorer and deleting the apk in /system/app/ but it says it cannot be deleted. I've granted SU and trying restarting and everything.

EDIT: For the hell of it I tried just deleting the app data and side loading the new APK and it worked fine. But out of curiosity I would still like to know what the "browser method" is.

That is the correct md5 ce371637bf47ead8734b50e709a19c3b. Also I've side loaded gw dozens of times w/out doing anything on the browser. Just don't ever restore data to gw using titanium backup etc....let it initialize as it does the first time and you'll be fine (yes...it'll remember everything after you sign in with whatever account you've used the past.

Simply amazing how hard Verizon Wireless has fought against the Nexus phone from the beginning.

A big thank you to those who help us average users of these forums, without you many of us would not enjoy our devices nearly as much.

Having said all this, it also appears someone is fighting against side loading GW since all the links I've found as of this morning have been taken down.
Does anyone know of a currently accessible GW apk?

I'm looking through my N7 for the Google wallet apk and I cannot find it anywhere. I'm using root browser light, looking in system/apps... Help a brother out? I wants some NFC buying capabilities baaaaaaaad.
