Is Issue App - Phone - Android?

I download recorded radio show segments (12 for each of 3 shows). Had a droid x that downloaded 36 segments daily with no issues. Got the GE S4 a month ago (pre 4.3) and immediately noticed that now only the first three segments will automatically download. Never more; never less. I can go into each day's show, manually check "add all episodes to queue" and it will download the remaining 9 segments. Contacted app developer - their help desk responded that they had never heard that issue, that they would not put any limiter in their code (that it would serve no purpose). Contacted Samsung and they responded "sorry, we have no control over what developers do" Any thoughts on where the issue might be? Tks!
