Besides the fact that some of the "issues" don't affect everyone. Nor do they bother everyone. Actually, there are things about the One X that I like so much that it helps me overlook some of the minor issues.
I've had zero hardware issues (got the phone on launch day, so early hardware), and haven't experienced any deal breaking issues at all. But like I said, I go based on my own experience, not the experience of a larger group. Sure, I might get opinions and read up, but at the end of the day it's my choice to make. I choose what works best for me, and I encourage everyone to do the same.
So yeah, sampling size. Doesn't matter to me. I'm not a corporation. I buy what I like, and if it has issues I handle it. Either by exchange or rooting/flashing/etc.
