Hello Everyone! This is kind of a long story so i'll try to make it as short as I can.
Last Sunday the 4th I visited my local T-Mobile store to purchase the GS2...unfortunately the sales person told me that it was out of stock company wide and his store will not be getting any until early April. "We do have the HTC Amaze for the same price, they are basically the same phone" he said. I left and called another T-Mobile store and was told the same thing, that they were completely out of stock.
The next day I called T-Mobile and told the customer service rep that I wanted to cancel my plan. He transferred me to a specialist who was very helpful. I don't remember her name but she offered to ship me the GS2 when was in stock which wouldn't be for about 10 days. She also looked at my family plan(Just me and my wife) and told me she would be able to save me some money if I stayed with them. I was paying about $160 a month for two line w/data and everything else. She said that she could make $110 before tax. WOW! But before I could say yes she offered the GS2 for $99 for a 2 year contract. I thought that I might as well ask for the white one I remembered seeing on their website. She put me on hold for about 30 seconds and came back and said okay. That night I only had to pay about $7 for shipping and the phone would be on my next bill. I was so glad about everything.
Well I got the phone a few day later on the 8th and it's awesome. I really like this phone. My only complaint was that it was loaded with alot of Bloatware installed. But it was easy to root/Flash recovery using ODIN. Now it's perfect. I thought the 800x480 would bother me on such a big screen but it looks great. I'm very pleased with T-Mo and plan on sticking with them for a while.
