When i try to play music with headphones my phone stops.

Hello. When i plug in my headphones and try to play music my phone stops. I had this problem for like a day or so. I have tried yesterday to plug in my speaker but i put the wrong things in it and i just ended up sending voltage to it rather than the normal. Well. I hope there is a solve for this.

Welcome to Android Central! Which phone, and what's the brand/model of headphones you have? Are they specifically "Made for iPhone"? Also, what do you mean that the phone stops? Do you mean the music stops, or that the phone shuts off?

I have a Huawei p10 lite and Samsung headphones. And yes. The phone completely shuts down.

I would guess there's some hardware problem. When you push the headphone plug into the jack, it might be causing a power connection to loosen, leading to the shutdown. You might have to bring it to a repair shop (or contact Huawei, if the phone is still under warranty.
