Question why does Quick Share only send, cannot receive files on Note 10 + ?

I just got a new Note 10 + and found that I cannot send any files to it from my other devices using Quick Share... The Note appears on the sending device, and the pop up asks to accept the incoming file, then just says "preparing" but the send fails with the message "Note 10+ didn't respond to the pairing request" The other odd thing I see is that there is a PIN number under the visible device icon on the sending device and on the Note 10 accept/ decline pop up. I don't see that PIN number using my other devices. The Note 10 can send files using Quick Share, just fails to receive them!!

I have tried clearing the cache on the quick share and agent apps, wiped the cache partition, and uninstalled / reinstalled quick share updates. I'm out of ideas and really want to get it working as it should since it is such a useful tool !

The Quick Share Agent app update is the problem. I uninstalled the update and Quick Share now functions correctly.
