how to fix non bootable tablet

i have and eklasse spark tablet running android 4.0 ICS
specs: 1.2 gx cortex A8,A10 512mb of ram
i had to reset my tablet because it was getting slow and though the reset was succesfull it ran out of power and when i charged it with would not boot on and it would show the battery depleted icon
and when i charge it would show the led light with light up when it is charging but when i press the power button it shows the battery empty icon
can anyone tell me how to fix it and wheter it is a problem with the software and if i need to flash the tablet with a new rom and also how to do this and the necessary links

Leave it plugged in for a few hours, then press and hold the power button for up to 30 seconds. Let me know how it goes.

Without being able to power on the device there isn't much you can do. Sorry to say, but you'll likely need a new device.

if it were a software problem then is it possible to flash the device with a new rom to make it work again

How will you interface with the device to transfer the rom? How will you enter recovery to flash the rom? If your device is not detected by a PC and won't power on, you don't have the tools to flash the firmware.

It's like saying all you have to do is remove some screws, but cannot access a screwdriver. You need access to the tools to be able to perform the flash. I'm not trying to be mean or talk down, but trying to make you understand. If you don't have the interface, you cannot flash.

No offence taken i just saw sum vids where this guy loads sumthing on the sd card and he makes it boot but it is true what u are saying i am gonna take it to the shop where i got it from to see if they can repair it and i may get a replaced model so thanks anyways
