GPE roms on non-GPE devices

Hi all, I'm Marco and I'm planning to switch from my old iPhone to a new HTC One M8. Since I would like to stick with stock roms I was looking for GPE editions but they are not available in Italy I was wondering to buy an HTC One M8 and install GPE stock rom. If I do this, will I get future updates from Google or should I install future GPE roms every time I want to upgrade?

Hello, welcome to the forums!

You'll need to install new GPE ROMs every time you want to update. That shouldn't be much of a problem considering it takes a few minutes to flash a new ROM.
