Has anybody else had an issue with a speaker from the HTC One M8?

I have recently boughten an HTC One M8, the phone works incredibly well with everything I put it to do. The only issue I have with it is that the top speaker (the earpiece), makes a bit of a static sound. I took it in to the tech center of my service company, they weren't able to do anything about it. Am I the only person who's had this problem?

Welcome to Android Central! Is it staticky when playing anything or only certain sounds? Does the same sound play perfectly on another device?
