How can I get my phone to take screen shots from the front again?

Had to do the update for my phone (I have an lg g3) I don't doing them because they always screw with something & yep they did I can no longer take screenshots from the front anymore, not to mention the thing that tells me how many bars I have no longer shows the bars, it's just a solid line. I want my ability to take a screenshot back. How do I do this. I'm not big on change. Please help me get it back.

I screenshot on my G3 by pressing the Volume Down and Power buttons simultaneously. It's easily done with one finger. In fact screenshotting on the G3 is easier than on any other device I've used.

I just found something. Have the picture up. Press the 3 dots on the top right. Scroll down and select capture plus. I have to get use to it. Not as good as the original but better than using the keys in the back.
