How can I adjust the calibration on my Droid Maxx touchscreen?

Just got a replacement Maxx, and every time I try to scroll, it opens something up. The touchscreen is much too sensitive, but I can't find out how to adjust it.

Welcome to Android Central! You generally can't calibrate an Android touchscreen, unless that option is baked into the system. How lightly are you touching the screen when you swipe? Make sure you're keeping your finger on the screen the whole time you swipe--if you're touching lightly and swiping, perhaps your finger is briefly leaving the screen, and it's probably detecting the initial touch as a tap.
