Not getting missed call notifications

I have a Samsung Galaxy S4 mini. I turn my phone off at night, but when I turn it back on, it doesn't show me any missed calls I may have gotten, which leads people to believe that I am ignoring them. Can this be fixed?

As far as I know, the phone will not give any missed call notifications when it is turned off, since the call goes straight to voicemail, if you have it set up on your device. If they do leave a voicemail, you should be able to retrieve it.

I have never had any phone that will show missed calls when you turn it back on after being turned off.

Perhaps you should consider putting your device on "Silent" instead of turning it off at night.
