"Updating contact list" on samsung e7

[AC Question]

After i finished this lollipop update on my samsung galaxy e7 i went to my contacts just to check if everything was fine. And its been almost 5 hrs since then. Its still updating. Have almost tried everything sync off and on and stuff. But nothing helps. Anyone out there who can help.

Go to Settings>Accounts-Google>[your account] and try unchecking Contacts, then checking it again.

no contacts are displaying in the contact list... if we open the contacts it was displaying " contact list is being updated" it was the problem after we updated to lollipop please help me...

Hi I tried it but it was not sync it was showing refreshing symbol but it was not refreshing

When my e7 is updated lolipop then after when I opened my contacts then it was written "contact list is being updated"
