How do I set my galaxy s5 lock screen wallpaper without the image getting stretched?

I've downloaded a few images from google and I would like to set one of them as my galaxy s5's lock screen wallpaper. The problem is that whenever I set an image, the image gets stretched horizontally on my lock screen. I have tried multiple times with different images of different sizes. I can set images for my home screen wallpaper just fine. I don't remember this ever being an issue in the past. Maybe I changed a setting but I'm not sure. If there's a solution I would be very grateful to hear it.

Hi, try downloading "Image 2 wallpaper" from the play store - it will shrink or stretch most images to fit with your device.
