phone fell and now it has a small scratch across the screen Now their is a white line in the display

The screen now has a white line down it about 2-3 inches and about 1/4 cm wide. It is on the scratch. Only can see when the screen is on white.

Damage of some sort has presumably been done. You may need a new display.
