Hi guys,
I purchased a brand new S5 Neo outright (from Telus) and am having a hard time with an email issue. I set up my gmail email in the Gmail app and everything works fine except if I leave my phone without touching it for 90min - 2 hours off of a charger. After that point, emails no longer get pushed to the phone. I have it set to notify me with a sound, but nothing comes in. If i hit the home button to wake the phone, the emails come in right away! I went into the App Optimization and turned off everything in there. I have also cleared cache, and reset the phone back to factory defaults, but the problem persists. I also tried the Bluemail application, and that behaves the same way.
Any ideas of what else to try? Its driving me crazy.
Phone is on Android Marshmallow 6.0.1 There are no updates available on the phone. Text messages and phone calls come in with no issue if the phone is left to "doze"
