Android Central Question

I've been looking around on Google and have seen that there are a few issues people have with the Bluetooth on this phone, but none seem to be the same as this. I turned the Bluetooth on last night to pair a device as I had many times before, but it just started turning the Bluetooth on and off constantly and an error message "Bluetooth keeps stopping" appears every few cycles of off and on. The only way I can stop Bluetooth from doing it is by putting my phone in airplane mode. When I go to the apps section of the settings to clear the cache, as many sites suggest, Bluetooth isn't listed as if it's not active. I've reset my phone, tried fully draining the battery and I can't try turning Bluetooth off because it's switching between on and off every couple seconds. I would prefer to not factory reset if it can be avoided! Any help would be appreciated!
