Android Central Question

I made a video on my Galaxy S5, when I play it on the computer, the video is sideways. I fixed that problem. Now the video is TALL and skinny, which is fine. When I try to make a Windows Media Movie, the video gets VERY WIDE, so everyone looks like they are 3' tall and waist size of 60". Can someone tell me how to fix that?

Since you are using a video in portrait mode and TVs are landscape, you need to make sure the player and/or TV support correctly displaying this format (check for options to display original video vs fill screen or force to 16:9 which is why you're seeing the stretched image).

Another option is to recode your video with black bars on the sides. This would force the whole image to be in landscape with artificial rendered bars on the sides to fill the unused screen areas. This would play ok on a TV but would also force you to use landscape on your phone (or portrait but the video would look tiny, not filling the screen).
