Why is my LG Startup screen stops

The screen will come on and LG, Life is Good but does not boot up screen to show startup or reads to show screen desktop. A I have tried by holding the power button together with the volume down button, but the LG product I have does not have Volume button to go through this process. Any suggestion!

What LG device do you own? All LG smartphones have volume buttons. If the buttons are located on the back of the phone, the volume down button is beneath the power button, and the volume up button is above the power button.
