My Samsung Galaxy A20's fingerprint reader stopped working. I have tried restarting my phone and even tried looking for it in my applications to clear the cache but was unable to locate it. Is there anything else I can do to fix the problem without doing a hard reset?

Can try safe mode , if still an issue go into a factory reset and if it's still happening take to repair center .
