i have a nexus 7 tablet, just recently, the battery started to have problems.

the original asus charger doesn't work any more, i tried to use the google chromecast charger, it also doesn't work.

i tried to charge it with different cables, chargers, it seems that there is only one charger that works. this particular charger doesn't work all the time. sometimes it simply doesn't charge. i have to plug and unplug the usb several times in order for it to work.

i have a voltage monitor. the max voltage that the battery consumes is 1.9 v.

i don't know if there is something wrong with the tablet itself, or it is time to replace the battery?

It sounds like the USB port on the device is either loose/off center or has become stripped. This would cause the contacts of the cable to not meet the contacts of the port with consistency.
