I've had a strange issue since the JB update with hidden files.
Files with a "." at the beggining of the file name, or files in a folder with a ".nomedia" file are no longer staying hidden. Any files that were hidden prior to the update stay hidden and don't show up in the gallery. Any files that have been added to the phone since the update (i.e. some app installs) the hidden files and directories are showing up in the gallery, which is REALLY annoying since many apps images/thumbs are now showing up as albums in my gallery, making it very cluttered.
I can't seem to figure out why/how this is occurring and how to remedy the problem. Has anyone else experienced this?
