Taking an XT912 from Verizon to another carrier?

Hi everyone,

I've been looking around at ways to "unlock" my phone so I can get it off of Verizon and to a cheaper company (Net10 for instance). The obvious reason I want to do this is so I can save some money in the long run and paying $45-50 rather than $100+ is a big deal to me.

I've looked around and it's said the the phone is technically unlocked for over seas and such but as I've stated above, I'd like to go with another carrier. Is there any way to do this?
