Help with Evo

I have an Evo 4g, however it won't boot past the sprint logo, it just keeps replaying over and over again. I'm guessing it is missing an operating system, I can get to the power volume down button screen, can anyone help me getting it fully functioning?

Yes, still nothing.

Did you buy the phone new or used. If used, from where?

Used from a co worker, I knew of the problem ahead of time, it was only 15 bucks. I'm just trying to get it functional

If your still new at this you didnt root it. But i would check with your co worker whom you bought it from to find out. If its rooted or stock can make a difference in if it can be fixed and how.
