Help with Galaxy S4

Hi everybody, my galaxy s4 has recently started refusing to download apps. I can click install, the screen will stay "installing" but it never gets to the downloading percentage and nothing ever actually downloads. What should I do?

Welcome to Android Central! Is this on both wifi and mobile data? Try booting into recovery and wiping the cache partition: Reset: Samsung Galaxy S 4 | T-Mobile Support

Are you on Wi-Fi or mobile data? Does it happen on both?

Some quick ideas to fix: 1. reboot the device. 2. log out of your Google Account from the phone then sign back in and try again.

This happens on both wifi and mobile. It's only from the google play store though. I can download files from the web.

Wiping the Cache partition didn't change anything. Neither did signing out and signing in again

There can sometimes be server issues. How long has it been going on? I'd give it a day and see what happens.
