Can't connect to network (Internet + Calls)
Hello, I have a Samsung Galaxy J which I bought (and successfully used) in Taiwan. It did also work with different SIM cards around Asia (e.g. Vietnam, Thailand). Now that I am back in Europe I try to use it with my Vodafone SIMcard but without much success. Most of the time it says Vodafone is not available. When I search for networks manually it will find it. Sometimes I can register in the network, sometimes I can't. Even if the registration works, 99% of the time I cannot make a phone call, send or receive Msgs or use the internet. Additionally it will always display full reception and sometimes even H+/3G but it won't work anyway.
I called the taiwanese SAMSUNG, the european SAMSUNG and the Vodafone support. They all blame someone else for the problem and nobody seems to be able to help me. Vodafone hotline told me, that my phone is displayed in their system as "unknown".
Any ideas?
