My messages send multiple times?

So a few of my friends have reported that they get a singular message that I send, a lot of times. On my side, it shows that it just sent once but then they screenshot their screen and they received that one message numerous times... I'm guessing this could just be a bug in the OS but I just wanted to see if there was anything I could do about it first. Thanks for the help!

Welcome to Android Central! Do they only see it with messages sent from you? If they see duplicates from other people, then it's more likely an issue with their phone or carrier.

(This is the person who asked the question) From what I hear, yes they only see it with messages sent from me.

Try using a different SMS app.
