Will they know if I dropped it? Please advise

Hello everyone,

I had my S7 for about 7 months now and loving it. I always took a good care of the phone and never dropped it.... until today!
We just got out of the car and my phone fell out of my pocket and fell down on hard surface from probably 50 cm high. I had a bumper case and tempered glass protector. The temper glass cracked but the screen doesn't have a single scratch. However the edge of the screen if bleeding purple and the whole screen also has purple tint now.

I still have warranty, but will they know if I dropped it? Are there logs that technicians can look into (accelerator or gyro)? If yes is it possible to clear them by re-flashing firmware?
The reason I am asking this, we just had a baby and I am so stripped for cash I cant shell out for a new screen for another 2 months.

Actually I think it is hopeless because bottom right corner the glass is cracked... what a bummer

Either way they will know it was dropped or damaged. Bleeding those colors usually means damage to the screen. Good luck with repairs.

What pisses me off is the fact bleeding started on left top corner, while small invisible crack is on the left bottom corner.

This was 1 hour after drop, now it is pitch effing black.
