Droid Turbo OS Update

Ok...I realize that the original Droid Turbo is an "old" phone, but it still works for me, I love it, and I can't seem to find a replacement I like...however, I am now having issues that have nothing to do with the phone itself per se...

The issue is that many of the apps are now, due to updates, unable to update or run since I am seemingly stuck on Android version 6.0.1, and there does not seem to be any updates coming from Verizon or Motorola, which I can somewhat understand...

Is there anyway I can "force" an update to a later version or perhaps install one myself?

If anywhere, XDA will have something. The issue you might have is that it was a Verizon phone and the bootloader will probably be locked which prevents replacing the OS.

There definitely won't be anything official, you'll need to go 3rd-party.
