So this just started today. My WiFi will show that it is connected, but the internet won't work. Turning WiFi off then back on works for a while but the problem always comes back. Hard resets have the same effect as turning WiFi off then back on. Any suggestions?

Try turning off your router and turning it back on after a couple seconds. That may fix it.
If not, you'll have to see if the problem is with your phone or your router. Try connecting to a different router. If it works fine, it means there's something wrong with your router or router settings.

Mine is having the same issue and I've repeatedly reset my router which fixes the problem for a short time. It eventually does it again the next time I'm trying to use home wifi. it's not my router because my Nexus 5 and my PC continues to function through the router. this recently started happening when the nexus 4 got the kitkat update.
