16gb Nexus 4 thinks it's an 8gb variant
Late last year, I noticed I couldn't install anymore apps. I thought this was odd because I only had a few smaller apps. I looked at the storage and it indicated "Total Space: 5.67gb"
I've factory reset. Flashed Android 5.0.1, 4.4.4, cleared cache. etc, etc. The phone still identifies itself as an 8gb device. I got in touch with my carrier, T-Mobile, they confirmed that it was shipped as a 16gb device. I contacted LG, and they too confirmed it was a 16gb device. They offered to put in an out of warranty repair ticket, but couldn't give me an estimate and mentioned it'd take up to a week to send it back. As this is my only phone, that's an expensive gamble.
I have scoured the Internet and tried every solution I can think of. I'm not an expert, but I'd definitely consider myself a power user. I've been messing around with Android for awhile and am comfortable in the command prompt with ADB and fastboot.
Any help would be GREATLY appreciated.
