Face Unlock Update? Are they going to fix the eyes shut issue?

I haven't heard anything about Google fixing Face Unlock so it doesn't work when your eyes are shut. Have you?

I'm not starting a thread about whether or not it's important. I am just curious if you've heard anything about it lately.

The last I heard , was going take few months or future updates .

That's all I heard too. Well, it's been a couple of updates. I have a feeling it's just going to be a surprise with one of the updates in the future. I hope it's before the next "feature drop" because they said those are quarterly. That would be another 3 months at least.

Since they don't technically see it as an issue and more of a feature request they'll probably take their sweet time with it.

Face Unlock can work when your eyes are shut? Wow! I did not hear about this until now.

Yeah face unlock probably scanning face details and features , not eyes . The future update should be where it detect eyes like Iris scanner I'm guessing.
