I have an issue I didn't see anyone mention after searching various terms on this forum. I'm almost positive this is not a post-Froyo issue since I think I noticed this in the past but never shared.
When in the stock internet browser and your at the top of the site, if you swipe down (as if you're scrolling upwards on the page), the browser still thinks is scrolling. The faster you swipe the longer it "scrolls".
You can tell this by the aliased images (images get anti-aliased when scrolling stops) and when you tap a link while it's "scrolling" your first tap will register as stopping the scrolling, instead of clicking the actual link.
If you want to see what I'm talking about:
- load up androidcentral.com
- stay at the top of the website
- swipe down
- you will see the top-left AC logo go aliased for a few seconds while "scrolling"
- and while it's "scrolling" you will notice that taps on links will not register
I absolutely love the EVO despite it's few relatively minor faults. I don't consider this a huge issue, just an annoyance that I hope gets addressed.
Anyone have a suggestion on how we can report this directly to HTC?
