is the M9 wider than the M8?

It looks wider than the M8 in pictures. Phone arena says its wider. How does it feel? Im using the Moto X 14 and i love the way it feels size wise.. how does it compare to the moto x 14

I sized my M8 up at the store with a mock-up, and the M9 is a hair wider... Maybe half a hair.

If you go by dimensions listed, the M9 is more narrow than the M8.

Well M8 on top of M9 it seems the M9 is a little wider
