Question about factory reset? And software version!

My phone has been doing some crazy things lately. I have the volume dropping problem. Have to restart the phone. I have random vibrates all the time. And a few other minor issues. I was wondering if I factory reset the phone would I lose the latest update on the phone and will go back to 1.85? If it does will I be able to check for updates update again back to 2.02 ? Or does the software version stay the same?

Software version will stay the same. Make sure to copy pictures and whatever data you have on it to a PC for "just in case", since the sd card should not be affected either.

The annoying part is just getting things back the way you like them, which can take a day or three to remember it all. At first. You do get better at it .

It should just restore the phone to factory settings, and have no affect on the software version. If it does you can always download the latest software. Mine came out of the box with the latest software, no OTA update required
