Upon close inspection, screen scratches (at least for me and I am easy on phones)

Yes I sold quite a few phones on Swappa, never used the boneyard. For the price I would have to sell it on the Boneyard, I'll just keep it, the screen is not shattered, it's a single small hairline crack on the bottom from where the word "Huawei" is over to the left edge. If my Mate 9 didn't have a white front I wouldn't have even known it was cracked.

Ah yeah, much more sensible to keep in that case.

You can always just list it... Doesn't cost anything if it doesn't sell.

I mean... Someone could be hard up for a mate 9 and willing to accept one with refer small crack at just a small discount
