Silly question about first screen

I know this will be silly to most, don't know the name of the screen when you first wake the phone up, the one before what I call the 'homescreen' where I have a personalised photo as background and my icons of choice placed. The one you see before you've fingerprinted or whatever in. When I first got the phone back in Spring this screen was black with just the time. It is now a selection of views, usually flowers/blossoms and changes every so often. I didn't select this and would prefer the original black but don't even know what to look for in settings. anyone understand what I mean and can help?

You are talking about the "lock screen" Under display settings (I THINK) you should look for lock screen settings. It might also be under notification settings, something along the lines of display notifications on lock screen.

I think this is may be a wallpaper setting. There is an option to randomly change wallpaper, this may have been selected?

Find wallpaper settings under 'display' I think?
