Camera mode slow to switch?

Hi all. I just tried to play around with the manual mode, but noticed that it takes forever to switch from auto mode to manual mode. From the moment I press the manual mode button it takes about 8-10 seconds before the camera can be used. Same thing happens when I go back to the Auto mode. When I press the button to switch modes, the screen would go black while the menu on the top of the screen is still visible. But none of the options work. The screen is basically frozen. This would last about 8-10 seconds before the camera starts working again.

Anyone else experience this? Thought switching modes would be fairly quick.

Nope, 1-2 seconds max for me. Try clearing the cache and data of the camera app and see if that helps

For me switching between front and rear camera, opening pictures, all take 3-4 secs ..too slow
