Mute function on the Moto X Pure Edition/Moto X Style?

Aside from the volume rocker, is there a way to turn the phone on mute? On my Note 2 you could hold the power button a few seconds then choose mute. Anything like that?

Stock Android no longer has mute, at least not like it used to. The most you get with the volume rocker is vibrate. You would have to select none from the slider that pops up with you adjust volume and then select indefinitely. To turn it off 'silent' you would have to select all from the volume slider. As far as I can tell you can't just use the volume slider to take if off that silent mode.

Google made volume controls a but convoluted with Lollipop.
