I want to install cm7 on my phone right now im on stock 2.2.2 i have CWM and i did a nandroid backup now if i install cm7 which would put me on 2.3.7 and i don't like it or what to go back to 2.2.2 for hdmi can i just go back into CWM and restore my backup.

Yes, if you have a Froyo Nandroid backup, restoring to that will have HDMI, then restore to a CM7 Nandroid backup when you're done.

This Rom is great the only thing right now that i don't like but can deal with is u can not have bluetooth and wifi on at the same time some times it will surprise u and work but a huge percent of the time it will not work. But combine this rom with the thunder prop is great alot more apps that wasn't available for the triumph is now available. hopefully whyzor get the bluetooth and wifi working together fully. when i was stock my benchmark was 1450 now with the rom and overclock at 1708mhz im hitting nearly 3000. i haven't tried above 1708mhz because the phone is running perfect no force closes so why mess with it. Just a great rom i don't know if whyzor is still working on this rom but if he's is keep up the excellent work.

this the end of triumph development with this rom?

Re: [ROM] CM7-TG-Reloaded (Latest: 03-04)

I think so.

Whyzor is going to compile 1 last build with what ever is merged on the CM7 website (forgot the link). Nothing on the list of changes is the fix for Bluetooth and Wi-Fi.

Re: [ROM] CM7-TG-Reloaded (Latest: 03-04)

Hey Whyzor,

I'm not sure if you can exactly help me troubleshoot this, but I would appreciate it. Back in December I successfully rooted my Motorola Triumph to TinkerGuy's final rom release, and my triumph was working great until early January. Then out of nowhere I began to have battery issues. It would drain relatively quickly and have difficulty charging. It's been almost three months since then and it is still having problems, to the point where it is completely unable to charge. I was able once in February to charge enough to reset the phone to factory settings and then update the rom to one of your TG Reloaded releases, but it worked for a day and then died after that and has stayed that way. I've tried various things to fix it, such as buying a replacement battery and getting a completely different charger from Virgin Mobile customer service, but no dice. I have no idea why this is happening, or if it is a Triumph, rom, or application issue. I don't think that I have any battery intensive applications or settings set to run. However, even if I do I can't change it anyway because I can't get the Triumph to even regularly charge in the first place, and my Triumph is only at least 6 months old.

What are your thoughts on the issue? Is there any way that you can help me or anything that I can do to fix it?

Thanks for your help with this and all that you and the other devs involved with rooting the Triumph have done. From what I was able to experience you have all done an excellent job with it :D!

You could try leave battery in phone & charge for afew hours, then take out battery, press & hold power button, put battery back in, press & hold power button again, repeat this a few times. Go to the MT forums on androidforums.com since it's more active there and there may be others who can help.

You forgot to flash gapps.zip right after flashing the ROM, see the installation section in post #1.

BTW uploaded the final build 03-25 in post #1 too.

Whyzor - thanks again for your labors on this - are you on the team for CM9
I guess that is the next great step for MT users -

Your work has been great improvement over stock and you carried T-guys work.
thanks again.

thank you whyzor

i have been running build 03-04 since it came out, was my first custom rom so it was an experience. i have to say this rom is incredible, i love how the stability is so much better then the stock os. i am installing the final build now, thank you cant wait to play with whyzors next eperiment

This is the Final Build... take it or leave it.

lol, yeah pretty much. But the MT has such flaky hardware, some phones may work & others not. I have tested it to work on my phone before. If you need those two and can give up on some of the newer features, flash an older version. See post #2 for changelog.

is there a user manual available for cm7? It seems stupid, but i found a way to move my trashcan, but remember how I did it. I really don't like where I put it's. It's right over my taskbae and now I can't put apps on it with out putting them in the can:(

What you're describing is a feature of ADW Launcher app that's the default in CM7. Maybe search for answers related to ADW Launcher, or simply try to press & hold the icon. Or go into settings - applications - ADW launcher and clear the cache to reset everything to default for the launcher app.
