Updates on verizon with 6p

Hey all, so I took my 6P originally from Google fi and cancelled that plan. I am currently on Verizon and I was wondering how the updates ( EX android N) will happen on my phone. I wanted to know if Verizon is sending the update to my phone or still google themselves.. some how.

It should be straight from Google. Verizon doesn't sell the phone, just using their towers.

Agreed,Nougat P5 is working spot on,no problems at all,fast and furious!!
