i want to build a rom that is gingerbread that is for people who have flashed there optimus v to metro pcs so we can have 3g and mms and all that other neat stuff like the speed tweaks can someone show me how to make it or build it

3g is a matter of MIP settings and the HA and AAA passwords. You need these from either a donor phone or from Metro itself.

As for the rom...
Start with an Opimus V IHO rom.zip
Replace the cdmasmsdispatcher inside framework/frameworks.jar with an Optimus S Cyanogenmod7 version.
Copy the apns info from a metro phone to the etc/apns-conf.xml file
Last, in the build.prop, change cdma carrier ID and numeric to whatever Metro uses.

Should work or at least get you close.
